Old Business

Bob Morrow and Rick Miller are still putting together Directory for 2007
May rezone some houses to make it easier for Block Coordinators
Park Committee(Emil Alecusan and Bob Morrow) spread seed, hay, and pulled weeds
Bob Morrow has been mowing islands
Tennis Courts in budget for city to fix in Spring 2007; this was confirmed by Karl Kraus; tennis courts will be completely leveled and all new equipment and surface; new equipment includes new net, fence, sound proof back board; there is talk of putting up coin operated lights
Karl Kraus said street that cuts through park will be closed by end of October 2006
Party in The Park 2007 received great reviews; everyone loved the movie idea; next year we will need to make sure letter is sent on Market Heights letter head to park board telling them about the late night event in the park
Motion to approve that we go ahead with plans to have the Movie in The Park for 2007 made by Bob Morrow and Bob Fay; all in favor
October 19, 2006 Meet the Candidates; we can set up as early as 9:30AM; 2 people will need to be at our table; table will be decorated with pictures, key chains, candy , banner and laptop presentation
NAVE meeting October 9, 2006 @ 5:00PM

New Business

$25.00 an hour for Canton Police Officer with Dog and weapon
$15.50 an hour for security out of Akron, cannot make arrest or carry weapon; can only call police if he sees a problem
Sergeant Love said he will be off duty when he is patrolling neighborhood
Steve Lamiell putting out sings for Garage Sale Motion to approve Canton City Police Security for November 2006- January 2007 made by Bob Fay and Darryl Paden; all in favor
