Steering Committee Meeting Minutes from March 19, 2007
Call to order: 6:38 PM
Members Present: Bob Fay, Jen Golden, Lyn Milnes, Rosemary Norton, Rachel Korzan, Kathy Tabellin, Pat Silagy-Wesson, Marilyn Paulos, Frank O'Lang, William Healy II, Clinton Bromley, Paul Borden, Paul Richardson, Betty Richarson, Mike and Janet Hall, Mary Jones, Sandy Zorn, Cynthia Hofacre, Tim Hisrich, Bill James, Niki DiCola, Karen and Rick Miller, Jim Reinhard, Rick Milnes, Carol Burt, Rick Bodenschatz, Steve Lamiell, and Darryl Paden
Old Business:
- Church on 32nd and Market may be up For Sale
- 30th and Market may become Bank???
- House on 36th may have issues with what is being built
- Karl Kraus said will vote if residence is wanting variance; need to come to committee meeting if against as a group
- square footage and frontage is what is a problem here; there is only 84 ft. of frontage when it should be the standard 100 ft
- Motion to be against varience was made by Rachel Korzan and Tim Hisrich; all in favor
- Tennis courts have been approved for next years budget
- Rick Bodenschatz was present at meeting to get an idea of when road closure should proceed with closing of the road between the park; it was decided among everyone at the meeting that we would give it until October 2007 before any final decision were to be made; there will probably be a separate meeting closer to the date of October to discuss our final decision
1st Vice President’s Report: given by Darryl Paden and Rick Miller
- Total of 81 paid members; $2,648.00 collected for membership fees in 2007
2nd Vice President’s Report: Crime Report given by Pat Silagy Wesson
- 17 total incidents reported in February 2007
- 1 breaking and entering, 3 alarms, 1 destruction, 3 hang-ups to 911, 3 accidents w/no injuries, 1 accident w/injury, 3 disables vehicles, 1 meet complaint, and 1 check on welfare
Treasurer’s Report: given by Lyn Milnes
- Total Membership and Revenue is $1,327.00
- Total Expenses are $474.85
- Revenue Over Expenses is $852.15
- Checking Account Balance for January 2007 is $8,310.07
- Checking Account Balance for February 2007 is $9,162.22
- Saving Account Balance as of February 28, 2007 is $50.00
New Business:
- April 23, 2007 Neighborhood Clean-up will take place; Canton will be 1 of 8 communities take part in this; they will pick up any items as long as they are not Hazardous Waste Materials
