Steering Committee Meeting Minutes from July 17, 2006
Call to Order: 7:06PM
Members Present: Bob Morrow, Jen Golden, Pat Silagy Wesson, Niki DiCola, Rosemary Norton, Tim Hisrich, Cindy Hofacre, and Emil Alecusan
Excused Absences: Bob Fay, Reinhard's, Gus Pirovolas, Rick Miller, Lamiell's, Marie Malernee, James Golden, and Marilyn Poulos
Secretary's Report: given by Jen Golden
- Motion to approve minutes for May 2006 meeting made by Emil Alecusan and Cindy Hofacre; all in favor
1st Vice President’s Report: given by Darryl Paden
- 205 paid members
- Discussed the possiblity of not mailing newsletter to non paid members
- Enforce ordinances for problem areas in the neighborhood
- Need to attend "Meet the Candidates Night" on October 19th 2006
- At "Meet the Candidates Night" need to present pictures and maybe slide show of problem areas in our neighborhood
- May contact Jason Reese for assistance in neighborhood problem areas
2nd Vice President’s Report: given by Pat Silagy Wesson

- No calls for June 2006

Treasurer’s Report: No Report Given
Old Business:
- Will publish current information that we have for Neighborhood Directory 2006
- Bob Morrow will call about grass on hillside in park
- Karl Kraus said it is in city budget for next year to have tennis courts fixed
- Party in the Park will be held September 9th 2006
- On July 6th 2006 Bob Morrow mailed notice to have street closed that runs through the park
New Business
- During next meeting we will discuss Police Security for neighborhood during 2006 holiday season
- Those that have lived in neighborhood for 50 years or more will recieve free newsletter
- Will talk about lighting up Market Heights; everyone should keep lights on throughout the night
